After the January 2022 maintenance schedule, Apex One (Mac) and WFBS-SVC for Mac users with macOS 10.11 and macOS 10.12 will expect the following:

  • The security agent will continue to run on the mentioned operating system versions, though Trend Micro will not develop any newer patches or hot fixes.
  • Fresh install of the security agent will be blocked for the mentioned operating system versions.

Trend Micro highly recommends upgrading to the latest supported version of macOS to continuously receive operating system updates so as security agent updates and hot fixes.
