As noted above, several products are reaching End-of-Life (EOL) status in either 2022 or 2023 and customers are highly encouraged to consider updating to the latest version of the product for stability, security and compatibility.

Trend Micro Deep Discovery versions 5.7 and above are unaffected by this issue, but it is still highly recommended to have the latest patch applied to ensure all known issues and vulnerabilities are addressed.

  • Trend Micro Deep Security Agents (DSA) running version 10.0 (DSA 10.0.0-2775, released on April 4, 2018) and above that are still currently under Support Extensions for EOL platforms such as Windows XP, Win2k3, Cloud Linux 6 (32-bit), Oracle Linux 5, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, CentOS 5 and Ubuntu 14 will be affected.
  • Deep Security 12.0 will reach EOL June 20, 2023. It is recommended to upgrade to version 20.0 as soon as possible. (JP EOL is on June 20, 2024).
  • Deep Security Rule Update (DSRU) updates are done through Deep Security Manager (DSM) send policy, and not directly connected to iAU server to update related FW/IPS/IM/LI of DSRU. Therefore, there will be no impact.

Customers who need further assistance with updates and/or upgrades may reach out to their authorized Trend Micro Technical Support representative.
