Trend Vision One considers the criticality of organizational assets when calculating the Risk Index. We had performed an optimization of the asset criticality algorithm on the November 7th release. When judging the criticality of assets, we take asset activity and the relationship among assets into consideration. We optimize the algorithm to calculate criticality within multiple features, which leads to a more accurate criticality calculation. We also optimize the risk scoring algorithm leveraging customizations and exceptions for risk events on a per asset basis. After optimization, you will most likely find the Risk Index level in Executive Dashboard changes for your organization. The adjusted Risk Index represents the optimized scoring and customization method, which provides a more accurate assessment of risk in your organization.
