Removal of TMEE Full Disk and File Folder Encryption features on April 1, 2023
Starting April 1, 2023, Full Disk and File Folder functionality will be removed from the TMEE bundle. New customers will only be able to purchase TMEE with MS BitLocker and Apple FileVault encryption management.
The following two legacy TMEE Renewal/Maintenance SKUs below will be retired from the Non-Published Price List on July 1, 2023, since we do not want customers renewing these SKUs past June 30, 2024, EOL date:
- Endpoint Encryption Bundle - Full Disk Encryption
- Endpoint Encryption Bundle - File/Folder/Removable Encryption
Customers who purchased TMEE prior to April 1, 2023 and need the agent for Full Disk and File Folder agent packages need to contact support. They will not be able to download them from the downloads page.
New TMEE Bundle SKU name
The TMEE bundle SKU name in the price list will change from “Endpoint Encryption Bundle - Full Disk, File, Folder Encryption” to “Trend Micro Endpoint Encryption”. “Trend Micro Endpoint Encryption” will only include MS BitLocker and Apple FileVault encryption management.
End-of-Life (EOL) for TMEE Full Disk and File Folder Encryption Features on June 30, 2024
TMEE Full Disk and File Folder functionality will reach End-of-Life on June 30, 2024, and will no longer be supported.
The following two legacy TMEE Renewal/Maintenance SKUs will also reach End-of-Life on June 30, 2024:
- Endpoint Encryption Bundle - Full Disk Encryption
- Endpoint Encryption Bundle - File/Folder/Removable Encryption

Continued support for MS BitLocker and Apple FileVault Management
MS BitLocker and Apple FileVault management will continue to be supported with the following OS support guidelines:
- MS BitLocker will continue to support new Windows versions going forward. MS BitLocker now officially supports Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 22H2/23H2:

Migration path for Trend Micro Endpoint Encryption - Full Disk Encryption
TMEE Full Disk Encryption can migrate at no cost to TMEE MS BitLocker before the June 30, 2024, EOL date.
