Deep Security Manager (DSM) imports 20.0.0 KSP from the Download Center in the console page for DSA manually. The KSP contains many kernel plugin files for DSA to enable security features.

Since DSA 20.0.0-8453+ and DSM 20.0.883+ were released in 2024, they both support the new version 20.0.1. of DSA and KSP.

In January 2024, Deep Security will replace version 20.0.0 with 20.0.1 for DSA and KSP.

Technically speaking, DSM doesn't automatically notify DSA which is older than 20.0.0-8453 (e.g. 20.0.0-5137) to retrieve KSP 20.0.0 by sending policy once KSP 20.0.1 has been imported into DSM for the same platform.

In some situations, users may continue to use KSP 20.0.0 for those hosts that run DSA older than 20.0.0-8453. To do this, the user has to manually run "Send Policy" command under "Actions" from the right-click menu on the "Computers" page after January 2024.

Or set up a "Once Only" Scheduled Task with the "Send Policy" command to regularly trigger DSA that is older than 20.0.0-8453 to fetch imported KSP 20.0.0.
