Trend Micro WFBS-SVC Common Active Directory Synchronization tool has been updated to version 6.7.1087. The Certificate Authority of the previous CADs Tool (version 1.0.0.2310) has been changed and can no longer be used to synchronize the Active Directory structure.

To resolve issues related to synchronization, use the following methods:

  1. Reinstall the New CADs Tool (version 6.7.1087)
    1. Install the new CADs tool via the Web Console by navigating to Administration > Active Directory Settings > Synchronization Tool Tab.

    2. After installing the new version, reconfigure the tool as needed. Refer to this article: Configuring Active Directory Settings in Worry-Free Business Security Services (WFBS-SVC)
  2. Manually Update the CADs Tool

    For assistance with manually updating the CADs Tool, contact Trend Micro Technical Support

 
If synchronization issues persist after installing and setting up the new CADs Tool, collect the following log file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\Trend Micro Common AD Service\ldapSyncAgent.log; and then contact Trend Micro Technical Support for further assistance.
