Update to "Detection Mode"

The Detection mode setting in Trend Vision One Endpoint Inventory will be moved to a new Monitoring Level setting in the following areas:

• Endpoint Security Policies
• Policy of Standard Endpoint Protection
• Policy of Server & Workload Protection

As part of this update, the Detection Mode setting will be removed from Endpoint Inventory. If an agent detection mode setting is currently set to "Aggressive Mode," it will be automatically switched to Normal mode.

Introduction of "Monitoring Level"

• The new Monitoring Level setting will provide more detailed configuration options for detection capability.
• This change is designed to provide users with more control and flexibility over their security settings.

No Automatic Migration

• Users will need to manually configure the Monitoring Level in the new locations as per their requirements.

Timeline

• December 02, 2024
  Detection Mode setting will be removed from Trend Vision One Endpoint Inventory.
• December 10, 2024
  Monitoring Level becomes available for the Endpoint Security Policies.
• December 12, 2024
  Monitoring Level becomes available for the policy of Standard Endpoint Protection, and Server and Workload Security.
