Login to Apex One console > Go to Agents > Agent Management.
In the Agent Tree, right click Apex One server TLD > Settings > Scan Settings > Real-time Scan Settings, Manual Scan, Scheduled Scan, Scan Now
Under “Target” tab, look for Files to Scan.
You may add the custom file extension (on the example is .VMDK file extension) here and check the radio box Files with the following extensions.
5. Click Apply to All Agents and Save.
