Unable to migrate the Apex One SQL database server. The SQL database is not available. Please contact Trend Micro Support for assistance.

Cause

The error pop-up is caused by SQL database operations implemented on Patch 4 and Critical Patch (build 13995) that is not fully compatible with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and Microsoft SQL Server 2014.

Installing Patch 4 or later builds on environment using SQL server 2012/2014 are known to experience problems deploying settings to security agents.

Resolution

Users who are using SQL Server 2012 or SQL server 2014 are advised to wait for Apex One August 2025 Critical Patch release.
