The following new features are now available in Cloud App Security:

  • Email header scanning in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy available for more email services and protection modes

    The DLP policy feature, which previously supported scanning email header fields for Exchange Online, has now been extended to include Gmail and Exchange Online in Inline Mode. This enhancement allows DLP policies to inspect email headers alongside the subject, body, and attachments. As a result, it provides broader coverage and more consistent protection across all supported platforms.

  • Enhanced email reporting to skip emails matching global approved header fields for Exchange Online

    Cloud App Security enhances its email reporting feature by allowing administrators to determine whether reported Exchange Online emails that match the approved header field list configured under Global Settings are sent to Trend Micro for further analysis. This improvement provides admins with greater flexibility in managing data handling in accordance with organizational policies and privacy considerations.

  • Enhanced Malware Scanning to detect active content in PDF files

    In addition to its existing support for detecting active content in Microsoft Office files attachments, Cloud App Security has now introduced the capability to detect active content in PDF files attached to emails in Exchange Online and Exchange Online (Inline Mode). It can then take the appropriate action on emails containing active content in these attached PDF files.
