• Approved SharePoint Online Sites in Global Settings

  Trend Micro Cloud App Security/Trend Vision One Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection now supports the definition of an approved site list for SharePoint Online within Global Settings. Files that are uploaded, created, synchronized, or modified on these approved sites will be excluded from scanning. This allows administrators to bypass Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) or Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy enforcement for trusted SharePoint Online locations.

  This feature simplifies the management of policies, particularly for organizations with numerous SharePoint Online sites. Similar to the approved user lists for Exchange Online, this enhancement enables easier oversight of exceptions.

• Extended Approved Sender List for Data Loss Prevention Policy in Gmail

  Trend Micro Cloud App Security/Trend Vision One Cloud Email and Collaboration Protection has expanded its capabilities by allowing the configuration of an approved sender list in the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy for Gmail. This update enables specific senders to be excluded from scanning in both API-based protection and inline protection modes.

• Automatic bypass for Microsoft Teams meeting URLs in Time-of-Click Protection

  Starting September 30, 2025, Microsoft Teams will validate meeting join URLs. If URLs are rewritten or modified, they may be flagged as malicious, potentially disrupting email delivery and link protection features. To mitigate this risk and ensure uninterrupted access to legitimate Teams meetings, Cloud App Security will automatically bypass URLs from teams.microsoft.com in Time-of-Click Protection. This update ensures that users can join Teams meetings without interruption, while maintaining robust threat detection. Administrators do not need to take any action for this feature to be effective.
