Caution: Including a snapshot may generate an e-mail that is too large for the destination server to accept. Snapshot will not include sensitive information such as user names, user passwords, LDAP/RADIUS server passwords, SNMPv3 passphrases, cluster passphrase, VPN IPsec keys, or keystore.

Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)

  1. Log in to the IPS Local Security Manager (LSM) from your browser.
  2. From the LSM go to System→Tech Support Report.
  3. Enter a description. (optional)
  4. Check the Include Snapshot check box. (optional)
  5. Click Download to download a tar.zip file of the report to your local Downloads directory.
  6. Attach the report file to an email and send to tippingpoint.support@trendmicro.com.

Threat Protection System (TPS) / Next Generation Firewall (NGFW)

 

  1. Log in to the TPS/NGFW Local Security Manager (LSM) from your browser.
  2. Select ToolsTech Support Report.
  3. Check the Include Snapshot check box. (optional)
  4. Include Firewall, IPS, Quarantine, Reputation, and VPN logs. By default, all Firewall, IPS, and Reputation logs are included in the report. TippingPoint Support uses these logs to troubleshoot issues. However, if you do not want to include the logs, uncheck the Include Fireball, IPS and Reputation logs.
  5. Click Create Report, the Tech Support Report is created.
  6. Click Export to download a tar.zip file of the report to your local Downloads directory.
  7. Attach the report file to an email and send to tippingpoint.support@trendmicro.com.
