Summary
The "unknown" name for a profile occurs when a previously unmanaged device is managed by an SMS for the first time.  When you manage the device, the SMS doesn't sync the profile names with the device, the profile name synchronization only occurs when the SMS distributes a profile to the device.

In order to fix this issue perform the following steps;

  1. Import the profiles from the appliance
  2. Distribute the profiles from the SMS to the appliance
