Product End-of-Life Dates
Milestone | Description | Milestone Date |
Announcement | The date on which TippingPoint announces the end of sale and end of life of a product. | March 2, 2015 |
End of Engineering | The End-of-Engineering (EOE) date is the end of the period during which TippingPoint will support software releases with maintenance releases, bug fixes, workarounds, or patches for critical bugs. When software reaches the EOE date, it will no longer be actively maintained by the Engineering team. | June 2, 2015 |
End of Support | Technical Support is provided by the TippingPoint Technical Support group. Support will be provided for hardware products for at least three years after the End of Sale date. During this period, Technical Support will provide phone and email support, will communicate bug fix requirements to engineering before EOE, and will attempt to provide workarounds beyond the EOE period. For software releases, technical support will be provided for one year after the EOE date. | June 2, 2016 |
