When Cloud One integrates with Trend Vision One, a pending status is shown on the console under "Endpoint & Workload Security".This issue occurs when you have both the legacy workload connector and Trend Micro Cloud One connector at the same time. By design, the Trend Micro Cloud One connector would not connect the workload product if the legacy workload connector exists.Note that if the legacy workload connector exists, the location Cloud One Endpoint and Workload Security console > System Settings > Trend Micro Vision One (XDR) tab exists, and the status shows Registered.

Trend Vision One Endpoint Security has enhanced its agent functionality to handle scenarios involving machine cloning, such as in VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) environment. This improvement addresses issues like GUID duplication, ensuring each endpoint is uniquely identified in the Endpoint Inventory. Customer no longer need to use the image setup tool to prevent the cloning issues.However, if the customers require the non-persistent VDI functionality mentioned in the Online Help, please follow the image setup process outlined in the Online Help document when creating the base image.
