- Navigate to ..\PCCSRV\Private\, and open the ofcserver.ini file.
- Look for the following parameters under the "TMCSS section":
[TMCSS]
WSS_INSTALL=1
WSS_ENABLE=1
WSS_URL=https://<IP Address or FQDN>:4343/tmcss/
WSS_HTTP_URL=http://<IP Address or FQDN>:8080/tmcss/If the "WSS_INSTALL" parameter has a value of "1", then the Integrated Smart Server Scan is installed.
- Look for the following parameters under the "LWCS section":
[LWCS]
LWCS_INSTALL=1
LWCS_ENABLE=1
LWCS_HTTP_PORT=8080
LWCS_HTTP_URL=http://<IP Address or FQDN>:8080/If the "LWCS_INSTALL" parameter has a value of "1", then the Local Web Classification Server is installed.
- If you are using IIS default website, port 80 (HTTP) and 443 (HTTPS) are configured by default.
- If you are using IIS virtual website, port 8080 (HTTP) and 4343 (HTTPS) are used by default which are both configurable. To configure, you may refer to Manually changing the ISPS ports of Apex One.
- Open services.msc and check if the following services shows with a "Running" status:
- Trend Micro Local Web Classification Server
- Trend Micro Smart Protection Server
- Open Windows Task Manager, and go to the Processes tab, check if the following processes are running:
- iCRCService.exe
- LWCSService.exe
- Log on to the Apex One web console.
- Go to Administration > Smart Protection > Smart Protection Sources.

- Click Integrated Smart Protection Server.

- Click Test Connection for both File and Web Reputation Services and check if both will be successful.

Ports should be the same with the values on the ofcserver.ini, under [TMCSS] and [LWCS] section.
You may manually update the Smart Scan Pattern by following these steps:
- Go to Administration > Smart Protection > Integrated Server.
- Click Update Now.

If you encounter Error 232, it means that it reached the maximum download TBL count. To address the issue, do the following:
- Go to ..\PCCSRV\WSS\FRSUpdateCounter.ini.
- Reset the value of CONT_FULL_TBLPTN_COUNT to 0.
- Restart Trend Micro Smart Protection Server service.
- Trigger an update on Integrated Smart Protection Server.
