  1. Check if the correct steps are performed to register DDI

    There are two ways to register DDI to Trend Micro Vision One. One is to use Deep Discovery Director On-Premises and the other one is to use Network Inventory service in Trend Micro Vision One. Trend Micro recommends using Network Inventory service to register DDI. For more details, check Enabling Trend Micro Vision One integration in Deep Discovery Inspector (DDI)

     
    In case you want to switch the registering way from using the Deep Discovery Director On-Premises to the Network Inventory service, follow steps 1 and 2 (step 3 is optional) described in Deep Discovery Inspector (DDI) and Service Gateway integration via Trend Micro Vision One.
     
  2. Check the necessary URLs and ports are allowed on your firewall rules

  3. Check if DDI can connect to Trend Micro Vision One using the Network Services Diagnostics

    Trend Micro Vision One related services should be reachable.
     
  4. Unregister and re-register DDI
     
    This step can be performed when the DDI is registered using the Network Inventory service only. If the above steps cannot solve the issue, try to unregister DDI from Trend Micro Vision One once then re-register DDI again.
     

    Below are two ways that DDI can be unregistered:

    1. Log on to Trend Micro Vision One console, go to NETWORK SECURITY OPERATIONS > NETWORK INVENTORY.

    2. Select DDI then click Disconnect button.

    3. Confirmation message appears. Click Disconnect button.

    4. DDI disappears from the Network Inventory page.

    5. Logon to the DDI web console, go to Administration > Integrated Products/Services > Trend Micro Vision One. Check that DDI is not registered to Trend Micro Vision One.

    6. Register DDI to Trend Micro Vision One again. For more detailed steps refer to article Configuring Deep Discovery Inspector (DDI) to integrate with Trend Micro Vision One using Network Inventory Service.
    1. Logon to DDI web console, go to Administration > Integrated Products/Services > Trend Micro Vision One.
    2. Click Unregister button.

    3. Confirmation message appears. Click Unregister button.

    4. DDI is not registered to the Trend Micro Vision One.

    5. Logon to Trend Micro Vision One console, go to NETWORK SECURITY OPERATIONS > NETWORK INVENTORY.

      The DDI should not appear on Network Inventory page.
