- This issue has been fixed by updating Splashtop Streamer v3.5.8.0 for Windows.
- For the affected machines where Splashtop Streamer version v3.5.8.0 for Windows cannot be updated, scan exclusions can be performed to alleviate the issue.
For Worry-Free Business Security Services web console:
- Classic Mode
Go to SECURITY AGENTS and select the affected devices/group of affected devices. Click the Menu icon (three vertical dots) then click Configure Policy.
- Advanced Mode
Go to POLICIES > Policy Management. Click Add or click an existing policy.
- Scan Exclusion Lists
- Under the Folders Tab, Click +Add then add the following directory as exclusion:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Splashtop\Splashtop Remote\Server\log\*
- Once done, click Save.
- Under the Folders Tab, Click +Add then add the following directory as exclusion:
- Windows Trusted Program Lists:
- Go to POLICIES > Global Exception List > Trusted Windows Program Lists then add the following path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Splashtop\Splashtop Remote\Server\SRAgent.exe
- Once done, click Save.
- Go to POLICIES > Global Exception List > Trusted Windows Program Lists then add the following path:
For Trend Micro Remote Manager Web console:
- Antivirus Scan Exclusion:
Go to Customers tab > All customers > Policy Settings > Antivirus Scan Exclusions > Groups > All Groups > Configure Policy > Select an action: Append:.
Specify multiple entries using the semicolon (;) or ENTER key.- Add the following under the directory path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Splashtop\Splashtop Remote\Server\log\*;
- Add the following under the file name full path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Splashtop\Splashtop Remote\Server\SRAgent.exe;
- Click Deploy Policy Settings.
- Add the following under the directory path:
- Behavior Monitoring Exception List:
Go to Customers tab > All customers > Policy Settings > Behavior Monitoring Exception List > Groups > All Groups > Configure Policy >Approved Program List > Select Action: Append:.
Specify multiple entries using the semicolon (;) or ENTER key.- Add the following under the directory path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Splashtop\Splashtop Remote\Server\log\*;
- Add the following under the file name full path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Splashtop\Splashtop Remote\Server\SRAgent.exe;
- Click Deploy Policy Settings.
