Users using an Android device installed with Android Mobile Security Agent 9.7 will expect the following after the EOS date:
- This Android agent version will continue to run on Android devices, though Trend Micro will not develop any newer patches or hot fixes for bugs, vulnerabilities and device compatibility issues.
- This Android agent no longer provides update services such as pattern updates.
Trend Micro highly recommends users to migrate to the new version of Worry-Free Business Security Services Mobile Security for Android version 2.x, known as “Mobile Security for Business” to receive latest hotfix releases and bug fixes.
