Views:
  1. On the Worry-Free Services web console, go to SECURITY AGENTS.
  2. One of the following steps can be performed:
    • Above the Security Agent List, click Add Security Agents.
    • Select the group to which you want to add a Mobile Security Agent and click Add Security Agents.

    The Security Agent Installation Methods screen appears.

  3. To send installation invitation email to multiple users at the same time, perform the following steps:
    1. Under Send Installation Invitation, click Bulk Send.
    2. Create a CSV file with the email addresses of users to send the invitation email. To obtain the template file, click Download Template.
       
      You can specify up to 500 entries in the CSV file.
       
    3. Click Upload File and upload the CSV file that you have created.
    4. (Optional) Configure the email content.
    5. Click Send to send installation invitation email to the users specified in the CSV file.
  4. (Optional) Click Configure link expiration to set the expiry time for the following if the user does not take action:
    • Download link
    • Security Agent installation package
    • Authentication code

  1. Scan the QR code.
  2. This will redirect to the web browser which displays the Google Play Store screen for Mobile Security for Business. Tap Install to proceed.
     
    Data charges may apply when Wi-Fi is unavailable.
     
  3. After the installation is complete, tap Open to run the Application.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to grant the required permissions.
  5. Remove the Old Worry-Free Security Services Mobile Agent from the Android device (if present).
  6. The new Security Agent automatically starts a security scan on your device. Wait until the process is complete.
     
    QR code can be obtained from the invitation email sent via the following methods:
    • Bulk Send - QR is already included in the Bulk Send invitation email
    • Single Send - To obtain the QR code, click View email content to display the email content then click Download QR Code. QR code can be included the in the installation invitation email.
     


 

Schedule

Mobile Security for Business will be available on the WFBS-SVC web console in the following Release Schedule:

  • July 10, 2023 for Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) Region: wfbs-svc-emea.trendmicro.com
  • July 17, 2023 for US and other regions (except Japan): wfbs-svc-nabu.trendmicro.com

New deployment features were added in the Worry-Free Business Security Services web console for Mobile Security for Business:

 
Installation of Mobile Security for Business Agent will replace Old Worry-Free Security Services Mobile Agent if initially installed on an Android Device.
 
 
Once migration to Mobile Security for Business agent has been completed, the old agent information including log information will be removed from the web console.
  • If following settings are enabled in "Real-Time Malware Scan, Privacy Scan, and Web Security settings", local setting saved on the Android device will not be migrated to the new Android agent.

    To check this setting, you may go through:

    • Classic Mode: SECURITY AGENTS > select the group > Configure Policy > select Android Icon Android Icon > Privileges and Other Settings > Real-Time Malware Scan, Privacy Scan, and Web Security settings
    • Advanced Mode: Go to POLICIES > Policy Management > select the existing policy > Configure Policy > select Android Icon Android Icon > Privileges and Other Settings > Real-Time Malware Scan, Privacy Scan, and Web Security settings
