Eligibility to update to TrendAI Vision One™ Email and Collaboration Security would be based on the following scenarios:
- TrendAI™ Email Security and/or TrendAI™ Cloud App Security (formerly Trend Micro Cloud App Security) is visible in the Customer Licensing Portal
- You have a valid license for Trend Micro Email Security and/or Trend Micro Cloud App Security
The following banners would appear depending on the scenarios:
- Scenario 1: You have no instance of TrendAI Vision One™
To perform the update, refer to the steps under Scenario 1 located in the Updated initiated from Cloud App Security side section of Updating Cloud App Security (CAS) to TrendAI Vision One™ Email and Collaboration Security.
- Scenario 2: You have TrendAI Vision One™ but Cloud App Security is not registered in the Product Connector page
To perform the update, refer to the steps under Scenario 2 located in the Updated initiated from Cloud App Security side section of Updating Cloud App Security (CAS) to TrendAI Vision One™ Email and Collaboration Security.
- Scenario 3: Cloud App Security is connected to TrendAI Vision One™
To perform the update, refer to the steps under Scenario 3 located in the Updated initiated from Cloud App Security side section of Updating Cloud App Security (CAS) to TrendAI Vision One™ Email and Collaboration Security.
In addition, the update to TrendAI Vision One™ will not continue if the following conditions are met in Cloud App Security:
- Protection for Salesforce is enabled
- Protection for Exchange Online, SharePoint or OneDrive is configured using a delegate account
- License status is expired for more than 30 days
The following banner will be seen in TrendAI™ Email Security:
To perform the update, refer to the steps under Scenario 2 located in the Updated initiated from TMEMS side section of Update TrendAI™ Email Security (TMEMS) to TrendAI Vision One™ Email and Collaboration Security (V1ECS) .
The following scenarios are to be supported in February 2024:
- TrendAI™ Email Security users without TrendAI Vision One™
- TrendAI™ Email Security users with TrendAI Vision One™ but not connected in Product Connector
If you wish to update to TrendAI Vision One™ Email and Collaboration Security as soon as possible, it is advised to connect TrendAI™ Email Security to TrendAI Vision One™ via the Product Connector or Product Instance page.
In addition, the update to TrendAI Vision One™ will not continue if the following conditions be met in TrendAI™ Email Security:
- A subaccount that manages specified domains exists
- Datacenter region of TrendAI™ Email Security is not the same as TrendAI Vision One™
- License status is expired for more than 30 days
