Enhancements have been placed for Trend Micro Apex One as a Service Data Loss Prevention during the last maintenance schedule and may clear the whitelists set in the user machine.

The following resolution is advised to rectify the concern:

  1. Log in to Trend Micro Apex One as a Service or Trend Vision One Standard Endpoint Protection.
  2. Go to Policies > Policy Management.
  3. Change Product to Apex One Data Loss Prevention.
  4. Select the associated policy.
  5. Click on Deploy.
  6. Wait for the policy to be deployed.
  7. Restart the user machine.

Trend Micro takes these issues very seriously and are currently working on a fix to prevent removal of configured whitelists.
