Root Cause
This issue is caused by a logic error in processing the exception list whenever a program is removed from the list. When this issue is triggered, there would be leftover characters on the database that would cause the setting deployment to fail.
Workaround
Prior to the maintenance, you can perform the following actions to temporarily resolve the issue:
- Open the related policy and then go to the Behavior Monitoring settings > Exceptions tab.
There is no need to perform any changes.
- Click save or deploy.
Recommendation
It is advised to apply the workaround if you suspect that the exception list is not properly deployed or if you have recently removed entries from the Behavior Monitoring Exception or Trusted Program List.
