Changing the User Account for Trend Vision One Access

If the previous employee's account needs to be replaced with a new user account in Trend Vision One, follow these steps:

  1. Reset Password for the New User Account:

    • Go to the Trend Vision One login page.
    • Click on Forgot Password.
    • Enter the new user’s email address.
    • Follow the instructions sent via email to reset the password.
  2. Login Using the New Credentials:

    • Use the updated email address and the newly set password to log in.
    • Note that Trend Vision One uses email addresses for login instead of usernames. For more details on migrating account login IDs to email format, see Migrating Account Login ID to Email in Trend Vision One.
  3. Complete the Mandatory Platform Update (If Prompted):

    • If the "Update Trend Vision One" popup appears, proceed with the update.
    • This update modernizes the login system and adds new features.
       
      • No existing data, configurations, or policies will be deleted or changed.
      • All users will be temporarily signed out during the update.
      • Password reset and MFA reconfiguration will be required after the update.
    • Only the primary user account can start this update.

Updating the Business Profile Name in Trend Vision One

  • Changing the business profile name only affects the display name shown in the Trend Vision One interface.
  • This change does not impact any security configurations, data, policies, or connected products.
  • The update is immediate after refreshing the page.
