The new 550/1500 Deep Discovery Inspector hardware appliance models are now available.
- Support for HASSH fingerprint identification
Deep Discovery Inspector can now identify HASSH fingerprints in SSH traffic for anomaly detection. The information is also sent to Trend Vision One™ as part of the telemetry data.
- Centralized management from Trend Vision One
You can now use Network Inventory on Trend Vision One to configure the VLAN awareness setting on Deep Discovery Inspector.
- Virtual Analyzer enhancements
Virtual Analyzer now supports Office 2024, allowing for threat analysis in a simulated Office 2024 environment.

Recommended Action
Deep Discover Inspector 6.8 SP2 (Build 6.82.1048) supports upgrading from Deep Discover Inspector version 6.8 or 6.8 SP1.
- Download the Deep Discovery Inspector 6.8 SP2 (Build 6.82.1048) Upgrade Package (.tar).
- For Deep Discover Inspector versions earlier than version 6.8, please perform a fresh installation or migrate Deep Discover Inspector to the supported version, 6.8 first. For the migration path, refer to the Knowledge Base article, Trend Micro™ Deep Discovery Inspector™ Software Upgrade Path.
Trend Micro recommends that you back up all Deep Discover Inspector configurations before performing migration.
