After performing an in-place upgrade from Windows Server 2012 R2 to 2019 on the TM Edge relay server, communication between external TM Agent and A1 servers stopped. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Check the version of Apex One server & Edge Relay server. If the versions do not match, suggest to upgrade.
  2. Check if TLS 1.1 or TLS 1.2 are enabled and if the OsceOPA certificate is valid.
  3. If logs indicate that the TLS connection request has failed, enable TLS 1.2.

By following the above steps, the communication issues between the external TM Agent and A1 servers can be fixed after performing an in-place server upgrade.
