Trend Micro Technical Support needs memory dump files to determine if the BSoD is related to Trend Micro products.
Do the following:
- On the keyboard, press the Windows + R buttons at the same time. This will open the Run window.
- Type "msconfig", then click OK to open the System Configuration window.
- Go to Boot tab, then click Advanced options...
- Tick Maximum Memory, and lower the memory usage, as less as possible.
- Click OK twice, then reboot the computer.
For XP-based OS
- Click Start, then right-click My Computer.
- Click Properties > Advanced.
- Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
- Set the Write Debug Information to create a Small Memory Dump.
For Windows Vista and Windows 7
- Click Start, then right-click Computer.
- Click Properties > Advanced system Settings.
- Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
- Set the Write Debugging Information to create a Small Memory Dump.
For Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
- Right-click the Start button, then select Control Panel.
- Click System and Security > System.
- Click Advanced system settings.
- Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
- Set the Write Debugging Information to create a Small Memory Dump.

Go to the following locations to collect the memory dump files:
- Small Memory dump - C:\WINDOWS\Minidump directory
- The Kernel and Complete Memory Dump - %SystemRoot%MEMORY.DMP
