To register SPLX to the TMCM server via command line, you can use the CMconfig tool. Please do the following:
- On the SPLX server, run the following command to start the CMconfig tool:
# /opt/TrendMicro/SProtectLinux/SPLX.util/CMconfig
If the TMCM Web server requires authentication, run the command with the –P option. - The message "Do you wish to connect this SPLX server to Trend Micro Control Manager? (y/n)" appears. Type "y" then press Enter to continue.
- The following message appears:
# ./CMconfig
Do you wish to connect this SPLX server to Trend Micro Control Manager? (y/n) [y] y
SPLX will now collect information in order to complete the Control Manager settings.
Please follow the instructions and enter the required information.
[Note: If the Control Manager Web server requires authentication, you need to set the login information using the "CMconfig -P" command.]

SPLX server name or IP address:For "SPLX server name or IP address", enter the IP address or FQDN (resolvable from the TMCM server) of the SPLX server.
- The message "Do you wish to connect to Control Manager server using HTTPS? (y/n)" appears. If you are using HTTPS to connect to the TMCM server, type "y" then press Enter to continue.
If the security level of the TMCM Web server is set to High, you can only use HTTPS.
- For "Control Manager server name or IP address", enter the IP address or FQDN (resolvable from the SPLX server) of the TMCM server.
- For "Control Manager server port [80]", enter the HTTP or HTTPS port of the TMCM server.
- The message "Do you access Control Manager through a proxy server? (y/n)" appears. If you are using a proxy server between the SPLX and TMCM servers, type "y" then press Enter. Enter the proxy server address, port, and the user name and password (if required).

- When the following message appears, the SPLX server has been registered to the TMCM server.

Now restart service to log on Control ManagerIf you run the CMconfig command while the SPLX server is already registered to TMCM, the SPLX server will be unregistered.
