It is important that a managed domain is tied to an activation code. Otherwise, the following cases may happen:

  • You cannot save IP Reputation Setting changes.
  • You cannot add a new managed domain under your account.

Ideally, all TMEMS managed domains should be associated with an activation code. Due to some manual processes, however, some TMEMS - Inbound Filtering managed domains are not associated with an activation code.

Below are possible causes why this occurs:

  • The account was provisioned manually.
  • The domain was added manually (not via the TMEMS console).

Do the following:

  1. Go to the Customer Licensing Portal.
  2. Log on using your CLP username and password.
  3. Under My Products/Services, check your most recent TMEMS.

If you are not logging on to TMEMS using your OLR username and password, contact TMEMS Support for assistance.
