The key point for VDI support is the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\Misc\VDIEnabled = 1

The OfficeScan client/agent will try to query the OfficeScan server for OnDemand Scan and Update Flow Control only if the value of the key is "1".

Therefore, if you clone VM first before installing the OfficeScan client, you need to run TCacheGen to set this key to "1".
