View the steps on how to enable the manual scan feature, by clicking on your product below:

  1. Log in to the Apex One server management console.
  2. Go to Agent > Global Agent Settings > Agent Control tab > General Settings.
  3. Under the Scan Settings section, tick the Add Manual Scan to the Windows shortcut menu on endpoints checkbox.

  4. Click Save to apply the settings.
  5. To perform manual scanning, right-click the file or folder and select Scan with Apex One Client.
 
Allow a few minutes to replicate the change to all clients.
 
  1. Log in to the Apex Central web console, then navigate to Directories > Product Servers.
  2. Click the link to open the Apex One as a Service console
  3. Go to Agents > Global Agent Settings > Agent Control tab > General Settings.
  4. Under the Scan Settings section, tick the Add Manual Scan to the Windows shortcut menu on endpoints checkbox.

  5. Click Save to apply the settings.
  6. To perform manual scanning, right-click the file or folder and select Scan with Apex One Client.
