View the steps on how to enable the manual scan feature, by clicking on your product below:
- Log in to the Apex One server management console.
- Go to Agent > Global Agent Settings > Agent Control tab > General Settings.

Under the Scan Settings section, tick the Add Manual Scan to the Windows shortcut menu on endpoints checkbox.

- Click Save to apply the settings.
- To perform manual scanning, right-click the file or folder and select Scan with Apex One Client.
- Log in to the Apex Central web console, then navigate to Directories > Product Servers.
- Click the link to open the Apex One as a Service console
- Go to Agents > Global Agent Settings > Agent Control tab > General Settings.
- Under the Scan Settings section, tick the Add Manual Scan to the Windows shortcut menu on endpoints checkbox.

- To perform manual scanning, right-click the file or folder and select Scan with Apex One Client.
