For TMCM, the above procedure should be done on all IE browsers accessing the TMCM server.
  1. Generate a certificate request for a public root CA.
  2. Install the certificate request response from the CA.
  3. Apply the certificate on Windows 2008 R2 and above.
    1. Go to Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Service (IIS) Manager. This opens the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) for IIS.
    2. Expand the Microsoft IIS server to view the virtual site list.
    3. Select Default Web Site. If TMCM was installed on a different website, please select it from the left panel.

      Default website

    4. On the Actions panel, click Bindings.

      Select bindings

    5. Under Site Bindings, choose HTTPS and click Edit.
    6. On the SSL Certificate section, select the SSL certificate that was uploaded.
