To resolve the issue:

  1. If you are logged on using a user-created administrator account, disable the UAC feature before installation:
    1. Open the Control Panel.
    2. Click User Accounts.
    3. Click Turn User Account Control On or Off.
    4. Uncheck User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer.
    5. Restart the computer.
  2. Add the URL of the Security Server of the WFBS console to the list of Trusted sites in Internet Explorer:
    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Go to Tools > Internet Options.
    3. Click on the Security tab.
    4. Click Trusted Sites > Sites.
    5. Add the URL of the Security Server or of the WFBS console.
    6. Click OK.
  3. Enable ActiveX controls to run.
    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Click Tools > Internet Options, then click on the Security tab.
    3. Click Custom Level, then look for the Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe setting.
    4. Choose Prompt or Enable.
    5. Click OK > Apply > OK.
  4. Run as administrator when opening Internet Explorer since administrator is disabled by default on Windows Vista and Windows 2008:
    1. Go to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer.
    2. Right-click the iexplore.exe file and select Run as administrator.
    3. Once Internet Explorer is open, type the WFBS console URL on the address bar.
    4. Click Install the Client/Server Security Agent.
