To resolve the issue:
- If you are logged on using a user-created administrator account, disable the UAC feature before installation:
- Open the Control Panel.
- Click User Accounts.
- Click Turn User Account Control On or Off.
- Uncheck User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer.
- Restart the computer.
- Add the URL of the Security Server of the WFBS console to the list of Trusted sites in Internet Explorer:
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Go to Tools > Internet Options.
- Click on the Security tab.
- Click Trusted Sites > Sites.
- Add the URL of the Security Server or of the WFBS console.
- Click OK.
- Enable ActiveX controls to run.
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Click Tools > Internet Options, then click on the Security tab.
- Click Custom Level, then look for the Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe setting.
- Choose Prompt or Enable.
- Click OK > Apply > OK.
- Run as administrator when opening Internet Explorer since administrator is disabled by default on Windows Vista and Windows 2008:
- Go to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer.
- Right-click the iexplore.exe file and select Run as administrator.
- Once Internet Explorer is open, type the WFBS console URL on the address bar.
- Click Install the Client/Server Security Agent.
