To create the client packager:
- Go to the <Server installation folder>\PCCSRV folder on the server and create a backup of the Ofcscan.ini file.
- Log on to the OSCE management console and follow these steps:
- Go to Networked Computers > Client Management.
- Select OfficeScan Server root.
- Go to Settings > Privileges and Other Settings > Privileges.
- Tick the "Enable roaming mode" checkbox.
- Go to Other Settings tab > Update Settings and then select the following options:
- Client download updates from the Trend Micro Active Update Server
- Enable Scheduled update
- Click Apply to All Clients to save the changes.
- Still on the management console, do the following:
- Go to Updates > Networked Computers > Update Source.
- Select "Always update from standard update Source (OfficeScan Server)" checkbox.
- Click Notify All Clients to save the changes.
- Restart the OfficeScan Master Service from the Services window.
- Create a client packager for the target computer and install it.

- Once you have installed the OfficeScan client on the target machine, set it to Roaming Mode by right-clicking on the client’s icon on the system tray and selecting Enable Roaming Mode.
- Copy the original/backup ofcscan.ini to the ..\PCCSRV folder to restore the settings.
- Restart the OfficeScan Master Service.
