To hide the Apex One agent icon, follow the instructions for the product that you are using below:
If there is a need to revert the settings, repeat the entire procedure but untick the check box in Step 6.
- Log in to the Apex One web Console.
- Go to Agents > Agent Management.
- Select the domain/endpoint where you want the Apex One icon turned off.
- Click Settings > Privileges and Other Settings > Other Settings tab.
- Go to Security Agent Access Restriction.
- Tick the Do not allow users to access the Security Agent console from the system tray or Windows Start menu checkbox.
- Click Apply to All Clients or Save.
The value of the following registry key will be updated to the following:
- For 32-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\Misc.

- Restart the Apex One agent.
- Log in to the Apex Central web console.
- Go to Policies > Policy Management.
- Select the Policy Name where you want the Apex One icon turned off.
- Under Agent Configurations, click Privileges and Other Settings > Other Settings tab.
- Go to Security Agent Access Restriction.
- Tick the Do not allow users to access the Security Agent console from the system tray or Windows Start menu checkbox.
- Click Deploy.
