This issue happens because by default, TMSM requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, while Windows 64-bit servers come with Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0.
To resolve this issue, you need to add registry keys on the server. Use the NewNetFwk2.zip file to add the registry entries.
To add the registry entries:
- Extract the NewNetFwk2.zip file to any location. Use "trend" for the password.
- Double-click NewNetFwk2.reg to generate the missing registry keys.
- Open the Registry Editor and check the following registry keys:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\
.NETFramework\Policy\AppPatch\v2.0.50727.00000 - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\
Policy\AppPatch\v2.0.50727.00000
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\
- Install Security for Macintosh (TMSM).
