ScanMail for Lotus Domino for AIX Patch 4 B3454

Lotus Domino: R8.0.1 32/64-bit, R8.0.2 32/64-bit, R8.5.0 32/64-bit, R8.5.1 32/64-bit, R8.5.2 32/64-bit, R8.5.3 32/64-bit

IBM Domino: R9.0 32/64-bit, R9.0.1 32/64-bit

OS Platform:

  • Windows 2003 Server
  • Windows 2003 Server x64
  • Windows 2008 Server
  • Windows Server 2008 x64
  • Windows 2008 R2

  • SuSE 15 x64
  • Oracle Enterprise Linux 7 x64

SMD 5.6 64-bit supports Domino 64-bit + Suse12 64-bit.

SMD 5.6 32-bit is also suitable in the Domino 32-bit + Suse12 64-bit environment. However, to have a successful installation in the SuSE 12 X64 environment, it is required to install “libstdc++.so.5” in Suse 12 beforehand because “/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5” is not installed in Suse 12 by default, as it belongs to the legacy package for Suse 12.

For more information about libstdc++5 with SLES12, refer to the SuSE Forum discussion.

Otherwise, smdcm will fail to load and the following error is encountered:

libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
