To manually download the plug-in:

  1. Please check the following registry key first:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\TrendMicro\OfficeScan\service\Aos\OSCE_ADDON_PLM\1_1_2.5.2040]
    "Status"="7"

    If the Status is not 7,  reinstall Plug-In Manager (PLM):

    1. Uninstall PLM:
      1. In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall{5DB0ECA1-4C56-488B-9BF1-FB300D9E1F54}, find the key SystemComponent and then edit its value to "0".
      2. Uninstall OfficeScan Plug-in Manager in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features.
    2. Install PLM.
      The PLM installer is located at PCCSRV\Admin\Utility\PLM\ on Apex One server and the file name is PLMSetup.exe. Double-click this installer.
    3. Reboot the machine.
    4. Make sure PLM was installed successfully by checking Logs > Server update.

  2. Download the following DLP files in Apex One:

    If you don't have PLM, please download the following:

  3. Create a sharing folder (e.g. LocalAU) for Local AU and put the downloaded files in that directory:

    For example:

    \\HOSTNAME\LocalAU\server.ini
    \\HOSTNAME\LocalAU\product\osce14\enu\AddonSvcDLP.zip
    \\HOSTNAME\LocalAU\product\osce14\enu\AddonSvcDLP.sig
    \\HOSTNAME\LocalAU\product\osce14\enu\DLPPatchAgent.zip
    \\HOSTNAME\LocalAU\product\osce14\enu\DLPPatchAgent.sig

    \\HOSTNAME\LocalAU\product\osce14\enu\PLM25_OSCE_AOS_COMP_LIST.zip
    \\HOSTNAME\LocalAU\product\osce14\enu\PLM25_OSCE_AOS_COMP_LIST.sig

  4. Revise the server.ini in the Download folder as follows in order to comment out the [Server] settings:

    From:

    [Server]
    AvailableServer=1
    Server.1=http://osce14-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.com/activeupdate/

    To:

    [Server]
    ;AvailableServer=1
    ;Server.1=http://osce14-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.com/activeupdate/
    ;AltServer=http://osce14-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.com/activeupdate/

  5. Change the Update Source to the newly created local one:

    Apex One web console > Update > Server > Update Source > Check Intranet and set UNC path to the above sharing folder (e.g. \\HOSTNAME\LocalAU)

  6. Restart Apex One Plug-in Manager service.

    This triggers the update of the PLM component list.
  7. Log in to Apex One web console and then go to Plug-ins.
  8. Click the Download under Apex One Data Protection.
