Emails from the Approved Senders list may be quarantined if the AntiSpoofFitler under the Default Spam Rule is enabled (Policy > Policy List > Default Spam Rule > Scanning Conditions > Others/Spoofed Internal Messages). The quarantined emails are sent from the Internet using an internal email account, which triggers the AntiSpoofFilter rule. Thus, the Approved Senders list in the policy will not work for this filter.
To fix the issue, you may add an IP to the Trusted Internal IP list if any external server needs to send emails using an internal mail account:
  1. Log in to the IMSVA Web console.
  2. Go to Policy > Policy List > Default Spam Rule.
  3. Click Edit beside Add scanning conditions match.
  4. Under the Others section, select Spoofed internal messages.
  5. Save the changes that you made.
If there are multiple spam rules, you may repeat the steps above for all spam rules with the "Spoofed internal messages" option is enabled.
NOTE: Adding the sender's IP to IP filtering approve list (IP Filtering > Approved List) will not resolve the issue. IP filtering approve list only works in the IP filtering module and Email Reputation Service. It is not applied in the policy module.
