As a workaround, you can configure your web browser to auto-refresh the DSM Dashboard page. This procedure is useful when clients are monitoring the protection status of the machines in real time.

Mozilla Firefox (version 52.0, 64-bit)

  1. Open the Mozilla Firefox browser and make sure you can access the Deep Security Manager console.

  2. Open another tab and access the Tab Auto Reload Add-on.

  3. Click Add to Firefox and then click Install.

  4. Restart the Mozilla Firefox browser and access again the Deep Security Manager console.
  5. Right-click the tab that you want to refresh automatically and select Reload Tab.

  6. Set the interval you want for refreshing the page.
  7. Verify that the page refreshes automatically within the selected interval.

Google Chrome (version 57.0.2987.989, 64-bit)

  1. Open the Google Chrome browser and make sure you can access the Deep Security Manager console.

  2. Click the three vertical dots on the upper-right corner and select Settings.

  3. Select Extensions and click Get more extensions at the bottom of the page.

  4. Search for the Auto Reload Page Extension and click Add to Chrome.

  5. On the pop-up notification, click Add Extension. The Auto Reload Page Extension icon should now appear on the right side of the address bar.

  6. Click the Auto Reload Page Extension icon and enter the URL of the DSM Dashbaord page.

  7. Modify the value of Reload After field, if necessary. By default, it is set to 3 seconds.

Internet Explorer (version 11.0)

IE has a feature called Meta Refresh, which is enabled by default. To check its status:

  1. Open the Internet Explorer browser.
  2. Navigate to Tools > Internet Options.
  3. Select the Security tab and click Internet.
  4. Click the Custom Level button.
  5. On the Security Settings - Internet Zone window, look for the option Allow Meta Refresh and make sure it is set to Enabled.
