    1. Download DELL iDRAC firmware from Dell's Product Support page: IDRAC with Lifecycle Controller V.,2.52.52.52.

      Look for the filename iDRAC-with-Lifecycle-Controller_Firmware_74GHJ_WN64_2.52.52.52_A00.EXE.

    2. Go to the iDRAC console, Overview > iDRAC Settings > Update and Rollback > Update.
    3. Upload the downloaded file (iDRAC-with-Lifecycle-Controller_Firmware_74GHJ_WN64_2.52.52.52_A00.EXE) in step 1 and install it.
    4. After the upgrade is completed, log on to the iDRAC web console and go to Overview > Server > Properties > Summary to check the firmware version. It should now be 2.52.52.52.

If you do not want to upgrade the firmware but still want to use iDRAC, as a workaround, you can set iDRAC to only allow a dedicated IP to access it. Do the following:

    1. Open iDRAC console.
    2. Go to Overview > iDRAC Settings > Network.
    3. Click Advanced Settings.
    4. On the Network Security page, select IP Range Enable and set the IP info which will allow access to iDRAC.
    5. To apply the settings, click Apply.
