OfficeScan XG pre-SP1 communication is over HTTP, while OfficeScan XG SP1 and Apex One is over HTTPS. Verify if your environment's TLS configuration is uniform and current. For reference: Potential issues with HTTPS communication in OfficeScan XG Service Pack 1 and Apex One.

Once the server is upgraded via patch or Apex One, the connected agents will self-update to the same version unless configured otherwise. For reference: Controlling which agents will upgrade in OfficeScan/Apex One.

Trend Micro recommends to apply appropriate MS KB immediately to enable ACS support before deploying Critical Patch B12011 or later versions. For more information, refer to Azure Code Signing (ACS) Certificate Integrity Checking Enhancement for Trend Micro Apex One.

You can visit Trend Micro Download Center to obtain the latest version of the product or to check if there is a newer patch/Service Pack other than the ones listed in this upgrade path.

 
For local languages, make sure to obtain the installation package with same language of your Security Server. To get the installation package that matches the language of the Security Server, click Region on the upper part of the Trend Micro Download Center page, and select the appropriate Region. The page will be redirected to the Trend Micro Business website. Scroll down to the bottom part of the page then click Download to visit the download center of that region.
