Views:
  1. Physical TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 1.2 is required.
  2. Microsoft BitLocker can be enabled on the agent.

To uninstall, make sure that the disk is decrypted either via PolicyServer or by executing the uninstaller:

  1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Full Disk Encryption.
  2. Launch the TMFDEUninstall.exe file. A prompt will appear that decryption will start.

  3. Once the decryption is done, run the TMFDEUninstall.exe file again to proceed with the uninstallation.

  4. Restart the machine to make sure the Full Disk Encryption drivers are removed.
Unattended Uninstall of Full Disk Encryption Agent for Endpoint Encryption
  1. Go to Trend Micro Download Center.
  2. Go to User Protection section, click Endpoint Encryption, and then download the latest version of the Trend Micro Endpoint Encryption Agents.
     
    The installer package includes Full Disk Encryption, File Encryption, and Encryption Management for Microsoft Bitlocker.
     
  3. Once downloaded, run TMFDEInstall_MB.exe to install TMFDE Management for Microsoft BitLocker.
     

    Take note of the fields:

    • Server Name: FQDN/IP Address: Port
    • Enterprise: Enterprise Name on the Policy Server
    • Username:
    • Password

  4. Wait until the installation completes.
