To resolve the issue, check if the rule/s is recommended for assignment or for unassignment.

  1. On the Deep Security Manager (DSM) console, go to Computers.
  2. Right-click the computer to scan and click Actions > Scan for Recommendations.
  3. Double-click the computer and view the results on the Integrity Monitoring of the Computer/Policy Editor.
  4. Click Assign/Unassign, and on the dropdown menu choose "Recommended for Assignment" to assign rules, or "Recommended for Unassignment" to unassign rules.
  5. Click OK to save the rules.
  6. Go to Overview tab and click Clear Warnings/Error.

If the rule/s on the alert are still assigned and the alert shows back, configure the rule/s.

  1. Double-click the computer and view the results on the Integrity Monitoring of the Computer/Policy Editor.
  2. Click Assign/Unassign, and on the dropdown menu choose "All", then search for the rule/s.

  3. Right-click on the rule/s and click Properties.
  4. Go to Configuration tab, uncheck "Inherited", and add the configuration needed as per the rule/s.

  5. Click Apply > OK to save. Repeat this on all of the rules on the alert.
  6. Go to Overview tab, and click Clear Warnings/Error.
  7. The alert should not show back after doing this step.
