Do the following:
- XES's CPU/memory consumption depends on the I/O operations of the machine. If the server has a huge amount of I/O operations, XES is also expected to be busy.
Most of the time, when the server is running a huge I/O service (e.g. MSSQL database) and has issues with CPU consumption of XES, it is recommended to have this kind of service added to the XES's exception list.
You can contact Trend Micro Technical Support for assistance in adding the service(s) to the exception list.
- Using the old version of XES may also cause performance issues. Make sure you are using the newer version.
To check the version, do the following:- Navigate to the C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Cloud Endpoint directory.
- Right-click CloudEndpointService.exe, and select Properties.
- Go to Details tab and look for the File Version.

Refer to Trend Micro Vision One Endpoint Revision History (Sensor for Windows) to see the details of each deployment. If old version is being used, you can download the latest installer from the Trend Micro Vision One console and perform an override installation..
- If performance issues are not resolved, contact Trend Micro Technical Support and submit WPR/Procmon logs on agent side for further investigation.
