Asset Criticality

To view asset criticality information, go to the list for each asset type (for example, Attack Surface Discovery > Devices > Device List). Assets marked with the star symbol are highly critical to your organization's operations. You can hover over the star symbol to view the asset's criticality level and significant profile tags.

Click View all profile tags. Navigate to the Asset Profile tab in Asset detail page. Asset criticality are set by 10 levels - the higher level means criticality is high. When assigning criticality levels, Risk Insights consider specific profile tags that are derived from data collected by connected sources. High criticality assets are essential to your organization's operations and may be targeted by threat actors. Compromise of such assets may cause business interruption and other severe consequences. Prioritize these assets when implementing risk control measures.

Clicking View all profile tags opens the Asset Profile tab on the asset details screen. Here you can find the full list of profile tags, which Risk Insights derives from data collected by connected sources, and the significant profile tags which Risk Insights consider when assigning asset criticality levels.

Assets are assigned one of three possible criticality levels.
