To address the challenge of multiple Linux distributions and the complexity it poses for IT administrators, Trend Vision One Endpoint Security offers an auto-detect Linux agent deployment package. This package eliminates the need for administrators to manually select the distribution and download the corresponding package. Instead, the package dynamically downloads the Endpoint Sensor and Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) components from the Internet when launched on the target Linux endpoint. This streamlined approach simplifies the deployment process and ensures that the appropriate components are obtained and installed seamlessly. It is important to note that the auto-detect package is specifically designed for the Linux platform.
