Based on our observation and troubleshooting steps, it seems that the issue is related to the unsupported kernel version on the RHEL 7 agents. To resolve this issue, please follow the steps below:

  1. Check if the Linux kernel version is in the list of supported kernel versions.
  2. If the kernel version is supported, import the latest Kernel Support package to Deep Security Manager.
  3. If the kernel version is not supported, upgrade the kernel to a supported version.
  4. Verify if Secure Boot is enabled and supported by Deep Security Agent on this Linux version. If Secure boot is supported, enroll Deep Security Agent's key.
  5. Check if Kernel Module Authentication is enabled and try disabling those features by removing specific parameters.
  6. If the issue persists, check the logs and events to identify the cause of the Anti-Malware Engine with Basic Functions error.
