- Login to the Cloud App Security console.
- Go to Policy Management > Advanced Threat Protection > Select a Policy.

- Go to File Blocking.
- Select Block All Files and then specify which files to be exempted from the blocking.

If Type of File Blocking is set to Block All Files, the following can be used to except files from blocking:
- File types not blocked - select or specify true file types that Cloud App Security never blocks.
- File extensions not blocked - select or specify file extensions that Cloud App Security never blocks.
- File names not blocked - type the file name that Cloud App Security never blocks.
- Click Save.
- Login to the Cloud App Security console.
- Go to Policy Management > Advanced Threat Protection > select a Policy.

- Go to File Blocking.
- Select the Type of File Blocking to be enabled.
If Type of File Blocking is set to:
- Block All Files - block all file types.
- Block Specific Files - select or specify file types that Cloud App Security always blocks.
File types to blocked - select or specify true file types that Cloud App Security always blocks
File extensions to blocked - select or specify file extensions that Cloud App Security always blocks
File names to blocked - type the file name that Cloud App Security always blocks
Additional files to block for incoming messages - specify other files to block specifically for incoming messages in addition to the files blocked for all messages
