  1. Log in to Trend Cloud One.

  2. Click Administration on the main dashboard.

  3. On the left pane, click API Keys.

  4. On the middle pane, click New.

  5. Fill out the New API Key pop-up. API Key Alias is required. Ensure that the Role is Read Only. Click Next.

  6. A new pop-up will appear, this is the API Key value. Copy and save this value as you will not be able to retrieve it later.

  7. Navigate to portal.xdr.trendmicro.com. Click Get set up now.

  8. Click on drop down list and select "Trend Cloud One".

  9. Paste the copied key from previous step in the Trend Cloud One API key value. Click Continue.

  10. Select “My business does not have a Primary User Account".

  11. Create a Primary User Account, click Verify Email.

  12. Find the verification sent to the email that was supplied and enter the code. Click Submit.

  13. Enter the Business Name and Country/Region, then click Complete Registration.

  14. Please wait while console is activating.

  15. Select the Data Center Region, then click Provision Console.

  16. Please wait while console is provisioning.

  17. Congratulations! You have successfully created a Trend Vision One console.

  1. From the main page of Trend Vision One expand the side menu. Click Cloud Overview under Cloud Security.

  2. From the middle pane, click Start Free Trial.

  3. A notification will pop up, click Start Free Trial.

  4. When the notice window disappears, you have started the trial. Click Configure Now.

    If the dashboard looks blank, it means that your cloud accounts may have insufficient permissions. To fix this, simply try adding or re-onboarding a cloud account.

  5. For an AWS Deployment, Click + Add Account.

  6. Select Deployment Type. If this is a Single or Organization Deployment, click Next.

  7. Enter the Account Name and Description, then click Next.

  8. By Default, Core Features will be enabled. Click Next.

  9. There are two options - Launch Stack or Download and Review Template. Click Launch Stack.

  10. Another window/tab will pop up. This window/tab will forward to the deployment type selected. At the bottom of the screen under Capabilities, select the checkbox. Click Create Stack.

  11. When the deployment is complete the deployment will show UPDATE_COMPLETE.

  12. Trend Vision One will show the Cloud Account as connected.

  13. Click Cloud Overview on the left pane. Click Entitlement in the middle pane. As data is ingested, this page will start populating.
